Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? We’re here to help with answers about care, clinics, and getting involved.

Do I need an appointment?

Some clinics accept walk-ins; others require appointments. Visit our locations page to learn more.

Who qualifies for care?

Individuals who are uninsured/underinsured and meet the income guidelines. See eligibility info here.

Do I need to bring anything?

Please bring any medical information you can share (medications, prescription list, prior diagnoses, etc.).

Are your onsite services really free?

Yes! All of our services—including medical care, prescription medications, eyeglasses, and specialty services—are provided at no cost to patients. Through the generosity of our donors, every $1 received allows us to offer approximately $10 in free health care to the community.

Do you have medical specialists?

We do! Some of our clinic locations offer specialized care such as dental, vision, women’s health, diabetic care, chronic disease management, foot care, chiropractic services, physical therapy, and social work. These services are offered by appointment only. Visit our Clinic Locations page for location-specific offerings and availability.

How is Grace Clinics funded?

Grace Clinics is fully supported by the generosity of local churches, nonprofits, foundations, and individual donors. We do not receive direct government funding and do not bill insurance or Medicare/Medicaid. Every gift—large or small—helps us serve thousands of patients each year.

Who makes this all possible?

Our care is powered by one full-time executive director, a small but mighty team of part-time staff, and over 200 dedicated volunteers. From doctors and nurses to greeters, translators, and prayer partners, our volunteers contribute over half a million dollars’ worth of services each year—and we’re endlessly grateful for every one of them.
