Serving Safely & Confidently
At Grace Clinics of Ohio, your safety and support as a volunteer matter deeply. We operate under the protection of the Good Samaritan Law, which provides legal coverage for licensed healthcare professionals offering free care in good faith.
To further safeguard our clinical volunteers, we also provide malpractice coverage through the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) in partnership with the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) — ensuring you’re fully protected while serving in our care environments.
Our commitment to high-quality, compassionate care is reflected in a clear and supportive onboarding process for medical volunteers, which includes:
Background Checks
NPDB reporting | National Practitioner Data Bank
Shadowing & Orientation For A Smooth Start
Professional LIcense Verification
Standard Care Agreements | SCA for Advanced Practice Providers | APPs
We’re proud to create a clinical environment where volunteers feel confident, supported, and empowered to serve well.
Join us in bringing hope and healing to our communities — one patient, one act of compassion at a time.
