POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Nurse at a Grace Clincs of Ohio provides essential patient care, offering both clinical and compassionate support to individuals in need. This role involves a brief nursing intake, taking vital signs, obtaining basic labs (not required), and educating patients on treatment plans. The Nurse is key to ensuring the clinic operates smoothly and delivers quality care to underserved communities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Patient Care: Assess patient health, take vital signs, obtain basic labs (not a required skill), assist with medical procedures as directed by the healthcare provider. 

• Patient Education: Educate patients on managing chronic conditions, understanding treatment plans, and maintaining overall wellness. 

• Documentation: Accurately record patient information, medical history, treatments, and any changes in condition in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. 

• Assisting Providers: Support physicians and other healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans and improve patient outcomes. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with valid state licensure. 

• Experience in a healthcare setting (preferred). 

• Knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care, and medical terminology. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations. 

• Compassionate and patient-centered approach, especially for underserved communities. 

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic clinic environment.
