Chiropractor Volunteer Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Chiropractor at Grace Clinics of Ohio provides non-invasive care focused on musculoskeletal health, particularly spinal adjustments and treatments for pain relief and mobility improvement. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and educating patients on musculoskeletal conditions and preventative care in an underserved community setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Patient Assessments: Evaluate patients through physical exams and medical history reviews to identify musculoskeletal conditions.
- Chiropractic Treatments: Perform spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapies, and other chiropractic treatments to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and promote healing.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on chiropractic care, posture improvement, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance their health and prevent further issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare providers in the clinic to create comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress, and any follow-up care.
- Compliance: Ensure treatments and practices follow clinic protocols and comply with all healthcare regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure to practice chiropractic care.
- Knowledge of chiropractic techniques, patient care, and musculoskeletal health.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate and work with diverse patient populations.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach, especially in working with underserved communities.
