POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Pharmacy Technician at Grace Clinics of Ohio supports the pharmacist and other healthcare team members in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients. This role involves preparing and labeling medications and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic’s pharmacy services, contributing to the overall patient care experience. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Medication Preparation: Assist the pharmacist or other healthcare team members in preparing and dispensing medications accurately, ensuring correct dosages, labels, and instructions. 

• Inventory Management: Manage medication stock levels, order medications as needed, and ensure medications are stored properly in compliance with safety guidelines. 

• Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed, patient interactions, and inventory status, following clinic protocols and regulatory standards. 

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to all legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines related to medication dispensing and patient confidentiality (HIPAA). 

• Cleaning and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy area, following health and safety protocols. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician (preferred). 

• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication terminology, and drug dispensing practices (preferred).  

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
